Valentine’s Day – Winter Schedule – Lecture Series

All we need is a little more snow to make this the perfect winter.  Here at 122 Corson and Blue Ribbon Farm, we are loving every minute of it.  So much so, that we have decided to offer a POP-UP dinner this coming Saturday night, February 1st contingent on the weather and if we can fill the house.  Chef Eddie is preparing an ‘Italian Night‘; soul filling Italian food to warm bellies and hearts on a winter’s night.  A peek at the entrees are: Beef Tenderloin Broccioli or Roasted White Fish Sorrento.  The full menu can be seen on-line at www.122corson.com.

Valentine’s Day (Friday, Feb. 14th) is filling fast with a couple of tables open in case you wish to take your sweetheart our friends out for dinner.  Again, chef Eddie has created a special meal for Valentine’s Day.  We plan on making the food, wine and ambiance memorable for the occasion.

The Winter Schedule: Since 2020 is the Bicentenary of Maine, we wish to recognize the importance of this occasion by hosting the ‘Bicentenary Dinner’ on March 14th (Saturday).  We will be featuring Maine traditional foods to fit the occasion.  The menu is a work in progress so stay tuned.  The following week is ‘First Day of Spring’ which we will be celebrating as we do each year on March 21st (Saturday).  The menu will be posted shortly.  It’s strange to be talking about spring already since we are only in the middle of winter.  For us, winter is a season for taking the time to read and to indulge our curiosity which brings us to the surprise we have to offer.

Lecture Series:  Recently, conversations shared over dining room tables has centered on Climate Change.  We are not scientists, but we have friends who are and since global warming is our planet’s chief concern, we are putting together a series devoted to Climate Change.  A newsletter on this topic is following with a full schedule of Presenters, dates, and times.  This lecture series is FREE and open to the public.  We have limited seating space, so we will be encouraging folks to register early.

We look forward to seeing many of you this winter.  In the meantime, take time to be outside and breath in our wonderful Maine fresh air; like an apple, it keeps the doctor away!
