A Night in Southern Italy

That’s Amore!

Although our Valentine’s Day evening of the 14th has filled, Valentine’s Day isn’t just to be celebrated on that one day.  We have extended that romantic evening to February 17th for those who want to celebrate with a loved one but can’t be out on a week night.  This special evening is our ‘Night in Southern Italy’ where the menu will focus on food local to Sicily, Calabria, and Puglia regions of southern Italy.  Having traveled in much of that area, we fell in love with the people, wines and the authentic taste of that area.

Our chef, Eddie Lamarre has created a mouth-watering menu which will feature seafood stuffed pasta; a sun-dried tomato Caesar salad (did you know that dried tomatoes are a staple in southern Italy!); entree choices of Farsumagru (Sicilian rolled stuffed roast) or grilled Lanpuga Siciliana (an herb marinated Dorado); vegetable Capanata (sweet-sour eggplant) and Patate al Masala (Sicilian roast potatoes); finishing with a dessert of Orange Panacotta.

February 17, 2018 – ITALIAN NIGHT This menu will have wines from southern Italy to match the food and your personal taste.  We look forward to sharing an Italian night at 122 Corson with you as Italy holds a special place in our heart.

Ciao,
Mary & Bob
